Extremely comfortable, lovely old-fashioned building, very good service, and delightful upper bar with views over the city. Very pleasant stay.

Everything went as booked. Thought I might have a problem because I made the reservation through Booked.net but all was smooth at checkin. Convient self parking garage.

Our stay at the Pfister was made even more pleasant with a complementary upgrade to a suite. This hotel is one of our favorite places, never fails to impress.

Wonderful stay
My main complaint is that we booked a tower room, and as we only stayed for one night, we didn't realize that they didn't give us a tower room until after we had checked out.

The public areas are very lovely although the carpet needs a good cleaning.
The rooms are tired looking. The furniture is dented and scratched up. The wallpaper has been poorly patched and repaired. The bathroom tub showers are old and small. The carpets need cleaning. Wi Fi is available in the rooms at a high cost. It's a pain to go to the lobby to get free Wi Fi.

one of america's truly classic hotels from decor to service. always a treat to spend a few days there when visiting wisconsin.
the mason street grill which is privately held and while in the same building not part of the pfister per se, is not worth the money. it was very disappointing. only negative of the visit.

The hotel staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. My friend and I traveled from out of town to visit with a dear friend who is having a baby and we made it a girl weekend. I had searched online for something special and Pfister was just the place. A marvelous time!
Make the toilet more environmentally friendly. As an environmentalist, I would have liked to learn more about what the hotel is doing to reduce the environmental footprint.

It is our family tradition to stay at The Pfister when we travel to Milwaukee from Pittsburgh for college basketball games. The location is perfect, the hotel is beautiful and Roc is always so helpful.

Great location - near everything in the city. Beautiful hotel art and design - excellent history! Wonderful concierge!!!
The hotel's older historic style in the rooms does not bode well for the need for extra wall sockets for all those needed electronics of the 21st Century... Also spent 40 minutes on phone with their tech support vendor because hotel's ethernet equipment was broken. Hotel did provide free internet service for my stay, but I believe they should have done more for the frustrating time I spent with the vendor

Beautiful old hotel. Great location for attending Summerfest if you don't mind spending the money. Ate breakfast two mornings in their cafe. Both food and service were great. Would definitely stay there again for any special occasion.

The rooms were comfortable and clean.
The lobby area was busy, no place to sit and wait or just relax.
